Huell
Tonight a twitter friend mentioned that it bothered her that she didn't know what happened to Huell. I think this could be incorporated into the story especially considering Jesse's interactions with Saul and Huell at the end. Just a thought.....

A new journey
As a mother of 3, 3 and under, I get very little time to do things I want to do. This November I'm going to try something, a challenge that I think will push me mentally.
I am going to try nanowrimo. If you don't know what that is, it is a challenge to write a 50,000 word novel during the month of November. I have no idea if I can do it, but I'm going to give it a shot.
Now for the topic: For years, I have wanted to write a coming of age story about 3 friends in the mid-90s, in a "Dazed and Confused" fashion. However, I couldn't find much guidance on this and while rereading my high school journals for research, I just found that I didn't like who I was in high school and reminding me of it wasn't productive.
The answer came upon me so simply today. I recently became obsessed with the AMC show, Breaking Bad, as many have. I joked with a co-worker that I should write Breaking Bad fan fiction for my novel. She instantly got excited and asked that I write about Jesse. It is brilliant. I am going to write about what happens to Jesse starting from his last scene of the series finale.
This blog outlines this journey. For the next few days, I plan to absorb as much as possible of Jesse's character. I want to do his character and his story justice as I embark on this challenge.
